Sauna safety guidance
Our Approach to Safety
This page outlines sauna safety at Sauna Hus, explaining how sessions are managed to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all guests. Your safety and wellbeing are central to how the sauna is designed, operated, and managed.
This page brings together essential guidance to help you use the sauna safely. Please take a few moments to read it before your visit.
Sauna bathing is a simple, restorative practice, but it involves exposure to high heat and outdoor conditions.
We believe safety comes from:
- Clear information
- Calm guidance
- Personal responsibility
- Well-maintained equipment
- Staff-only control of critical systems
Short sessions, regular breaks, and listening to your body are encouraged at all times.
Before You Use the Sauna
Please ensure sauna use is suitable for you.
Sauna bathing may not be appropriate if you:
- Are pregnant
- Have heart or circulatory conditions
- Have uncontrolled blood pressure
- Have a fever or acute illness
- Are under the influence of alcohol or drugs
If you have any medical concerns, consult a healthcare professional before booking.
By using the sauna, you confirm that you are medically fit to do so and accept responsibility for your own wellbeing.
